Likely candidates are Australian or New Zealand Riesling, Viognier, Semillon, Verdelho, Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Blanc. New World sparkling wines in general work well, as do dry Muscats and Vinho Verde from Portugal and Torrontés from Argentina.
