This is my favourite Christmas image of 2025. I noticed this stunning chalk drawing in a club in Soho and enquired as to its origins. Grace, who was front of house that day, said that her father, an accomplished artist, had finished sketching it minutes before I arrived. The sense of immediacy, the beauty, the medium, the setting, the imagination, and the sense of humour captured in this image make this beautiful artwork, at least to me, sum up the wonder and magic of the season.
