It’s time to change the narrative & rethink Premium Australian Shiraz

This ground-breaking event will be an in-depth tasting to illustrate and educate how premium Australian Shiraz has evolved and developed throughout Australia over recent years.  It will demonstrate how diverse and different the regional characteristics are in these impressive wines selected from the most famous Syrah/Shiraz producing regions.

The Shiraz/Syrah produced in Australia today is a testament to significant transformations in winemaking and viticulture over the last twenty years.  These wines sit comfortably alongside the very best Syrahs produced IN. THE. WORLD!  The UK trade mostly overlooks this evolution of elegance and complexity, and this is a unique opportunity to reset your thoughts and understanding of what the future holds for Australian Shiraz.

Featuring over 30 iconic producers from Western Australia to New South Wales, each showcasing a current release alongside an older vintage (5+ years) of each wine, carefully chosen from museum stock, this is a truly rare opportunity.  It’s a chance to understand the magnificence of these wines, how they age, and how their unique terroir influences them. With winemakers present and legendary Shiraz and Syrahs being poured from some of the most globally recognised estates, this is an invitation to an exciting celebration of Australia’s most famous grape.
