Swinney are renowned growers of top-quality grapes in the exceptional Frankland River region. The best of the best (less than 5% of total production) goes into the Swinney label. Of this, only fruit of ultimate quality makes it into the top-of-the-range ‘Farvie’ wines, in very limited quantities per vintage.
Attracting some of the very highest scores – up to 99/100 and 19.5/20 – from reviewers such as The Wine Advocate, Jancis Robinson, Ray Jordan and Matthew Jukes, the Farvie Grenache and Syrah offer a thrilling sensory experience. This will be a unique opportunity to compare them across different vintages, as well as a preview of the 2021s, including the hugely exciting début of the Farvie Mourvèdre.
The tasting will be presented by wine writer, broadcaster, and raconteur, Matthew Jukes, making this a fascinating and truly unforgettable evening. After the tasting, a three-course dinner will be served, matched to a selection of Swinney wines.
Swinney is kindly supporting the event, so it is extraordinary value, at just £99 per head for all wines and dinner.
The seasonal menu will be confirmed nearer the time, but please let us know of any dietary requirements when you make your booking, and the chef will be happy to accommodate.
