5th March 2023 – Huntingdon with host The Old Bridge Wine Shop
On the 18th of October 2020, when the country popped up for some clean air between lockdowns, Old Bridge Wine Shop supremo John Hoskins MW took the plunge and organised one of the most memorable 100 Best events of all time. A socially distanced, people-in-pods, Sunday Lunch that I tutored between delicious mouthfuls! Of course, it would have been a more traditional tasting and then lunch, but this was the only format that was permissible at the time and it was a huge success. This year we are back with a tasting followed by a superb lunch. The tasting starts at midday and lunch follows at 14.30. Drop John and the team a line at wine@huntsbridge.co.uk and register your interest now. There will be more information to follow very soon.
10th March 2023 – Cardiff with host Wine Republic

13th March 2023 – London with host The Derouet Jameson Memorial Foundation at Vintners Hall

24th March 2023 – Colchester with host Piers Baker at The Sun Inn, Dedham
Here is an excerpt from Piers’s Sun Inn website – The tasting will begin at 18.00 at Dedham’s Assembly Rooms (CO7 6HJ), just 100 yards up the road from the pub (CO7 6DF). A lovely, large, open room that will accommodate up to 125 guests. The last entry into the tasting will be 19.15. We have space for 65 for a SET DINNER back at the pub from 19.00 – 21.15. Antipasti for the table followed by Slow-cooked Lamb, Shepard’s Pie, Wild Garlic & Turnip followed by a pudding and cheese platter. Options are available for pescatarians, vegans, and vegetarians. And there is usually some wine to bring down from the tasting to enjoy with dinner. Tickets for the tasting only are £25. Tickets for the tasting & dinner are £70 – contact The Sun Inn directly on this link – the event.
14th April 2023 – Birmingham with host Loki Wine Merchant
This is one of the BIG ones – the Millennium Point location is tremendous and the crowd for the last event (prior to the first lockdown) was huge. Phil Innes always puts on an incredible show, so my advice is to book early!
Timings: 18:30 – 20:30.
Location: Millennium Point, Curzon Street, Birmingham B4 7XG
