2016 Mandolás Dry Furmint (£19.95, www.bbr.com) is a very dry, tangy release and while it is certainly invigorating and tense, it seems just a little too hard for me.  Given six months it might soften a touch, but I would not bet on it. 17+/20

2015 Noble Late Harvest (£19.50, 50cl bottle, www.bbr.com) is a charming success.  Lush and mildly tropical, but not too sweet or cloying, this is a lovely wine with discreet beauty and pin fresh acidity. 17.5/20

2008 Tokaji Aszú 5 Puttonyos (£55.50, 50cl bottle, www.bbr.com) is a stunning creation with every facet of a great Tokaji already in place.  The mandarin scent and wild honey palate are sublime – this is a solid 18.5/20 wine.

2005 Tokaji Aszú 6 Puttonyos (not shipped yet) is the same vintage that was shown last year, so my note and score are, not surprisingly, the same 19/20 with flamboyant apricot and honey notes this is a wine with crazy complexity and it casts a thrilling spell on your senses.
