National Wine Show, Australia – Results November 2009

Blog | November 25, 2009

Matthew has been away in Australia of late visiting winemakers, organising TouchWine – his charity event for the Hutt Street Centre for the homeless in Adelaide (sadly postponed due to 40 degree heat – but look out for a new date in the New Year), and judging the National Wine Show in Canberra.

The National Wine Show is the premier wine show in Australia’s extraordinary show system that plays such a key part in the ongoing improvement and development of Australia wine. Fellow judges amongst the panel of 13 included chairman Tom Carson of Yabby Lake, consultant oenologist Tim James, Iain Riggs of Brokenwood, Sam Connew of Wirra Wirra Vineyards, and Larry MacKenna of Escarpment Vineyard in New Zealand.
